We were very proud to host the first ever London Film Festival Film in the City Gala in October 2010. The archive screening of Bow Bells and Waterloo Sunsets was preceded by a talk by BFI non-fiction curator Katy McGahan about the historical context of the films and their restoration process. Brendan was the leader of republican political prisoners in the H-Blocks of Long Kesh prison during the 1981 hunger strikes.
