Anne (Kiberlain, Beur sur la ville, Polisse) lives alone and seems to make no impression on the world, until a bird flies into her apartment and her life. Ostensibly content with no family or friends, she finds freedom in its companionship, which adds a lightness to her existence she had not realised was missing. Avoiding sentimentality and with a dry humour, Yves Caumon has created an intriguing and measured film exploring loneliness, grief and rebirth.
