Young Barry B. Benson (Jerry Seinfeld) is a bee who has just finished university and doesn’t know what to do with himself. One day he breaks the law of bees, which states that he must never talk to a human, in order to thank a florist for saving his life. The woman in question, Vanessa Bloom, soon becomes Barry’s friend. However, when Barry learns from Vanessa that the humans have been harvesting the bees’ honey, he decides to take legal action! Now Barry has a vocation in life, but can his new friendship with Vanessa survive when the bees discover they’ve been talking?
