Kids Club

From 11am on Saturdays we have a different activity every week followed at midday by a fantastic film.  Activities range from art and craft to group games and quizzes.  Tickets are only £2 with a group ticket at £10 for up to 10 people.  Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible older person.  The activity is for a maximum of 20 children and is mainly aimed at ages 5-8.

Welcome to the Kids Club!

In November the Kids Club welcomes the return of the London Children’s Film Festival with two very special screenings. The first is Stormheart, a wonderful Finnish film about a faithful dog. An actor will be reading along with the subtitles to help anyone who can’t see all the words. The second special screening is a Singa-Longa to The Lion King! Fancy dress is encouraged, and prizes will be awarded for the most creative outfits.

At the Kids Club we love films, so some of our children have written reviews of their favourites…

Ruby (7) can’t wait to see Kung Fu Panda again ‘because it’s funny’, whereas Sophie (8) prefers Spongebob Squarepants. Michele (5) and Nicholas (7) both think Scooby Doo is hilarious. Lella (4) loves puppies so A Hundred and One Dalmatians is the film for her, whereas Martin (6) can’t get enough of Hammy the squirrel from Over the Hedge. Rosa (7) can’t decide between Flushed Away and Mary Poppins. Lyla (8) has lots of favourites, including Flushed Away and Spirited Away. Sunray (8) also loved Spirited Away because of the characters and the artwork.

If you fancy yourself as a budding film reviewer then give me one of your reviews on Saturday and it might even make it to the website!
