Kids Club
From 11am on Saturdays we have a different activity every week followed at midday by a fantastic film. Activities range from art and craft to group games and quizzes. Tickets are only £2 with a group ticket at £10 for up to 10 people. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible older person. The activity is for a maximum of 20 children and is mainly aimed at ages 5-8.
Hello!
My name is Ellie and I will be taking over Laura’s job running the Kids Club. Some of you might have already met me at the Horton Hears a Who! screening in July. If not, then I look forward to meeting you soon. I can’t wait to get started with some fun activities and I hope to maintain the reputation of the Kids Club as the best place to be on a Saturday morning.
I am on holiday this month so my first Kids Club won’t be until the 30th August when we will be watching the family classic Swallows and Amazons. But don’t worry - Kids Club will still be happening every Saturday this Summer with a fantastic line-up of films.
If you have any queries about me or the Kids Club you can still email kidsclub@phoenixcinema.co.uk and I will endeavour to answer them all on my return. Alternatively you can drop-in on Saturdays for a chat.
Oh, and remember that elections for the Kids Club representatives of 2008-2009 will be held on the 6th September when we will be watching Barnyard. Many thanks to the current representatives for all their hard work over the past year:
Milly Rosa Jasmine Erin Abigail
Our 5 representatives will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the Kids Club. If you would like to represent the Kids Club and have lots of fun taking part in all the activities and workshops then please come along and put your name down.
That’s all for now, see you next month!
Ellie
