Kids Club

Don’t forget that there will be some brilliant activities before each film. These start at 11 am sharp so book yourself a place and come and make something cool or win some fabulous prizes! Read the fantastic reviews written by Kid’s Club attendees. Fill in one of the review sheets after a film and you’ll be in with the chance of winning a prize!

Kids Club is for kids aged 5-10. All children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

A young rat from the French countryside arrives in Paris and makes an unusual alliance with a restaurant’s new garbage boy. Let the culinary adventures begin!


21 Jan –  Up (U) 1hr 36

With his beloved wife Ellie gone and developers trying to put him in a retirement home, stubborn old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America by tying thousands of balloons to his home and flying away!  However, Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.

A Medieval teen romance, Ella is under a spell to be constantly obedient, which is inconvenient when you’ve got a kingdom and a prince to save!  Anne Hathaway from the Princess Diaries kicks butt in this history flick!

From the makers of Ponyo, a young girl earns herself an invitation to the magical kingdom of the cats.  Thinking the life of cat is one of only eating and sleeping she thinks she’ll enjoy the holiday, little does she know what really goes on in the feline world!

On a creepy old island evil, ancient forces have been awakened that threaten to enslave all of man kind.  It’s up to one man and his dog (and the other three friends of the Mystery Inc. gang) to save us!  When ghosts say boo, there’s only one thing to Doo!

From the makers of The Corpse Bride, Coraline, an adventurous girl finds another world that is a strangely idealized version of her home, but has sinister secrets.

 

25 Feb –  Mr Bean’s Holiday (PG) 1hr 30

In his latest misadventure Mr Bean unwittingly separates a young boy from his father and must help the two come back together. On the way he discovers France, bicycling, and true love, among other things.

 

3 March – Thumbelina  (U) 1hr 27

Thumbelina maybe as big as a thumb but she’s certainly got lots of courage!  When she is kidnapped and told to marry a frog prince she takes matters into her own hands and braves the big wide world instead!

 

10 March – Howl’s Moving Castle (U) 1hr 59

A spiteful witch turns young Sofi into an old woman, her only chance of breaking the spell lies with Howl, a self-indulgent yet insecure young wizard and his companions in his moving castle.

 

17 March – E.T cancelled, now showing Johnny English Reborn (PG) 1 hr 41

 

 

Johnny English is enticed back from retirement by the newer flashier MI7.  Can Johnny keep up with the times, whilst tackling international assassins?

24 March – Hugo (U) 2hr 5

A young orphan living in the walls of a Parisian train station becomes wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and a mechanical man.
