The Phoenix is a popular venue for film and TV shoots including My Week with Marilyn, Nine, Nowhere Boy, The End of The Affair, The Culture Show and many others. We have been used for countless stills shoots, corporate hires and charity events.
The Phoenix is available for children’s parties, private parties and screenings, short film screenings, schools, charity screenings, corporate functions, product launches and promotions, rehearsals and film, tv and photo shoots.

The cinema can seat 255 people. It has 35mm and digital projection facilities.

Charity Screenings
The Phoenix Cinema is available for charity screenings, giving exclusive use of the building during your hire. We provide full staffing and ensure the safety and comfort of your audience. Please give us as much notice as possible when planning an event, in order to ensure your choice of date.

Photo Shoots
The classic art-deco interior of the cinema has provided an illustrious backdrop to a wide variety of shoots throughout the history of the Grade II listed Phoenix. Previous clients include Maxim magazine, Marie Claire and various advertising agencies.
